Hi, I’m Sarah,
- Professional photographer & business owner since 2013.
- Mother of one daughter since 2008.
- Puppy Mum since November.
- Collector of gadgets to make my business life easier.
- Passionate about business and love a good banter with a fellow business owner.
I started my professional photography journey in 2012 in Whangarei with a Certificate in Small Business Management before I chose my first camera and threw myself in the deep end photographing my Mum’s wedding one week later.
I have always been creative – enjoying drama, dance, photography and media studies at high school, going on to do a Diploma in Performing Arts which taught me project management, people management and the importance of creating my own work.
I have learned a LOT since then and I’ve enjoyed photographing many events, weddings, families and business owners in Whangarei and Northland over the last 6 years. Each year of business has allowed for huge growth – both in my career and my personal life and this means that my focus on what I specialize in also changes.
I think it is important to work with clients that are fun, creative, reliable and value photography.
I look forward to chatting with you.
My key focus areas for 2018/2019 are:
Lifestyle Family Portraits – Capturing real people & real moments and offering heirloom prints and albums to showcase in your home and keep for generations to come.
Headshots – My goal is to capture you looking friendly, approachable & professional so you can use your images across social media and print advertising.
Personal & Business Branding & Bespoke Stock Photography – Let me capture your individuality in a relaxed and fun session, designed to bring out your unique personality and BRAND. Images are created for website design, social media and print marketing.
Weddings – Bridal Portraits, Intimate Weddings, Elopements, Garden Parties and Engagements in Northland.
I was feeling like I knew Alisha & Justin pretty well by the time it was their wedding day! I had photographed an engagement shoot for them a year earlier and I had also more recently been to Auckland and photographed Alisha's hen's party! So I had now met some of...
